On October 3rd, we celebrated Jamie’s 44th birthday.  We are so thankful for the beautiful life he lead.  What a blessing to know we will be together for all of eternity after this time of separation.  We  thank God for walking us through these most difficult 2 years.  He has been so faithful and loving and is still mending our hearts.  Where would we be without Jesus?  Our Saviour, Comforter, Redeemer, Father, Our Friend.  So much to be thankful for.

“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.  Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.  For you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.  And when Christ Who IS your life is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him.

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart”  Colossians 3:1-4, 10, & 4:2

 

We don’t rely on ourselves, but on Christ.  We cannot do it on our own.  Thank the Lord we don’t have to!
